First Cavity

Poor Isaac. He was the big winner in our family.  He scored the first cavity out of all the kids. 

We tried letting him know what would happen.

He was still scared but tried to keep a brave face.

 Once they had him lying in the chair he started panicking. 

So I started snapping pictures so he could see what was going on to try and calm his nerves.

 He wanted one of the inside of his mouth.

And one of him holding onto Wet Nose.

We needed to get the "gas" into him...that's when the screaming began.

 Once I convinced him it wasn't bad and that it made him look like a clown, he calmed enough for me to put it on him and allow the gas to work...he was pretty mellow after that. 

 Our dentist is Dr. Matt Jensen (no relation). He did a great job.  

We even joked during Isaac's procedure...esp when Isaac started smiling, or trying to smile.

We have one brave kid. 

He didn't have an ounce of pain after that needed meds. 

He's also doing a great job of remembering to floss all on his own. Makes a Mama proud!
