I just realized I never posted these picts. Oops.
We hosted the Coulliette FHE for May and decided it would be fun to have a Cinco de mayo party. We ate Mexican food. Played Mexican music and beat down a pinata filled with goodies. It was loads of fun had by all.
The mommies helped the babies swing the bat so we got blindfolded to give us the disadvantage.
Then all the kids took their turn swinging.

After round one the pinata was still whole, so we let them have at it without a blindfold.
And beat it, they did!
It took a few kids, but finally Alex had the winning swing.

We also celebrated Uncle Doug's 30th birthday with a Mexican Cake. Tres Leches.
It was so delicious and rich. Definitely a do-again, but maybe only once a year.
