Cell phone randomness

I took a drive to Logan one Sunday afternoon with the kids and decided to swing by the Brigham City LDS Temple.

This was our first time seeing it since we couldn't get our schedules figured out in time to get tickets to the open house.  Allison and I went to the dedication, and loved it, though.

It is such a beautiful temple!!!

The Sunday before we left for Disneyland Kyle did this to his eye.

The back story.

Allison and Isaac had gone to Scout-O-Rama with Grandma Joan and Grandpa Max. They came home with rain gutter regatta boats with long wooden dowels for the mast.  Kyle, wanting to play with the big kid toys, was running around with one of their boats, tripped and fell right onto the long dowel stabbing himself in the eye.  It could have been worse.  Thankfully, after spending time at Primary Children's ER that Sunday morning, we determined that his inner eye was going to be just fine and that we were going to let his eye heal on its own. It needed one stitch, but that would have required sedation and would have been more expensive and traumatic than necessary. Sadly, he may have a scar there now.

Disneyland was HEAVENLY!!!

Mr. Kyle outgrew his infant carrier some time ago (he's now 20 months) and we finally broke down and let him graduate to a big boy forward facing car seat. He loves it!

At our pediatric dentist's office, there is a giant half boat in the lobby. While waiting for our turn, the kids had fun playing and looking for pirates and hidden pirate treasure.

Kyle LOVES being outside. LOVES IT. It had been raining for days, and we're not talking sprinkles. It was POURING. This guy was so tired of being cooped up inside, that he walked out to the back deck, climbed up on the seat and just stood there.  I kept calling him. He ignored me. Intentionally. The stinker! He didn't want to be back inside.
