We decided to play a candy game...ahem...bribe the kids....so they would pay attention to conference.
We started writing down words we thought we would hear during conference.
Isaac grabbed the notepad even before I wrote a word down.
"Repent" is what he came up with.
He sounded it out and wrote it down without an ounce of help!
He constantly amazes me!
After, we found some of our favorite treats and set up the game.
It was really fun.
Though we were all sick of candy and sweets by the end, it did get their ears in tune and I felt it was successful.
Next time we'll opt for something without candy I think.
Between sessions, we visited our house-in-progress.
What a fun surprise to find the framing had begun!
