We bought fireworks to make the kids happy and stop nagging at us. It would have been fun just our family, but it's so much better to share and have a family event instead!

Yeah, the boxes you buy at the store really are boring.
But that's okay. It was all about being together. Besides, it was starting to rain as we were wrapping things up.
