The Birthday Girl woke up the day after her birthday and promptly began work decorating the tea set Aunt Amy gave her.
Mommy's Visiting Teacher, Karlene, made Allison a cake. A Holly Hobby Cake. We had no clue what that was. But upon arrival, Allison was THRILLED! It sat on the counter for a whole 24 hours as she admired her special "pioneer cake".
And this Mommy didn't make her daughter a cake after all. It was WONDERFUL!
As if the festivities of her birthday day-of weren't enough...we also went to dinner as a family to celebrate Saturday evening. Mostly because Daddy had to work the evening of her birthday.
We wanted a fun family dinner date. Allison picked. Texas Roadhouse.
Why?
To ride the horse saddle.
This was either the second or third time she blew out the candle on her special cake. Though after this one, we dove right in and ate up!

Letting my age show - I do know what Holly is. And that cake is incredibly gorgeous! I can see why she wanted to wait a day to cut into it.
