One Sunday evening, not too long ago, Steven's sister Lara, organized a
family FHE in the mountains near Bountiful.
Everyone did a lot of wennie roasting for dinner, except US.
Allison had requested Tin Foil Dinners, authentic-style.
Our dinners enjoyed a nice fire cooking and were so YUMMY!
The campfire just made it all the more fun!
After dinner, we moved onto an all-american classic
S'MORES!
Crispin was going for more of a charcoal-flavor than marshmellow!
Isaac took a few bites of the whole s'more, and then decided
that marshmellows plain were really more his style.
I think he looks absolutely adorable here!
Plus, he's sporting his Utes hoodie he picked out!
Having some fun with Grampa Steve.
Then taking a minute out to cuddle with Grama Dixie.
There was a beautiful stream near our campsite that the kids wanted to play in so badly.
Spencer has such a handsome smile!
This is where the BIG kids played most. On this ROCK! Of all places!
(LtoR) Grampa Steve, Isaac, Allison, Crispin, Spencer
Okay, one last picture just to show you that Allison really
CAN take a picture with her EYES OPEN...
and Crispin with his pinecone in his lap!
Haaa!
THANK YOU, Lara
for organizing such a fun family FHE!

YOUR kids are SO ADORABLE!! Thanks for your comments. You are awesome!! I'm a slacker at comments and my blog these days. I wish you lived closer but I love looking at your blog:) Have a great week!!!
Go utes!! Love the pics! Nothing beats a good old picnic up in the mountains. Smores, hotdogs, campfire, dirt, it's all good. And whats best is you get to go home and shower and sleep in your own bed.
too fun!!!
There is nothing better than roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. Yum!
