Petting Zoo Fun

My friend Kira and I spent time together at Thanksgiving Point Farm Country with our kids. They, as expected, had a blast! We took sac lunches and ate on the picnic benches. Allison and Keaton couldn't wait to see more animals and ride on the ponies, but Isaac, the disposal that he is, tried to get as much food from everyone else's lunches he could! You'd think we didn't bring enough for him to eat...oh NO! We had plenty, but everyone else had more interesting things to eat. Silly boy! He was a bit more timid around the animals, too. How different sibblings can be!
Allie trying to reach the horse...it was GIGANTIC in comparison to her 5 year-old size!
Riding the fake sheep...all for more photo 'ops, right! Keaton, Allison & Isaac
All the kiddies getting in on the horse action!

I think we stayed with this horse for a good 8 min, or so, while Allison sat on the fence petting it. Both seemed to absolutely LOVE it!
Isaac was a bit nervous riding this horse. He's just not quite as daring as his sister.
Allison was in HEAVEN! She LOVES horses and couldn't ride this one long enough!
The little calf was nibbling at Allie's dress while she was petting it. Too cute!
Two cute kiddies...though, again, Isaac just wasn't too sure about this.

Love the pictures, Lisa! My little granddaughter Kamryn thinks that petting zoo is the best place in the world. It's almost in her backyard and they keep season passes so they can go whenever they want, which seems to be very frequently. To think, when I was little everyone had access to farm animals.
