Well, we're still in the year of the FIRSTS with our new home ownership. The latest FIRST is Steven mowing our lawn for the FIRST time! We were given this lawn mower from his Uncle and Dad and we were thrilled. Then tried to start it up...no go. So, we took it into the repair shop and a week and a half later, here's what we get!
The grass was all wet, but he was determined to get it cut since it was quite the jungle! We're talking over a foot in some places.
It's so much more fun doing yard work when it is your own home and yard! 
Notice how LONG the grass is behind Steven! Yup! It's all good now! We even bought a weed wacker and new Grill this weekend! Wahoo! We're getting there...slowly but surely.

SO neat! There is a lot of pride in caring for your own home and yard. Right now Doug is doing most of ours since bending on my hands and knees at 8months pregnant is not fun. However, I love going outside and enjoying the freshly cut grass!
