The day before Allison's birthday we celebrated with family.
Uncle Michael and Aunt Patrice stopped by earlier in the day to give Allison a new awesome blanket made for her especially by Uncle Michael. It was his very first blanket he ever made. Allison LOVES it.
Later on the real party began. This girl LOVES to read, so we asked that family bring their favorite childhood book...used preferably. I like the old, worn, well-loved books and their smells.
Super excited about this one. It's all about one of her loves...pioneers.
Lizzy LOVES this Mister. She was happy to snuggle with him for a bit and he was happy to oblige.
More fun books. Mommy wants to read the one on the left WITH Allison. It looks like a fun baking-type read!
Grandma Pam and Grandpa Tom gave her a great present. A big box of old library books. She's already read Little Women and if you ask her, she "ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT!" It also contained Anne of Green Gables, a Nancy Drew, things like that. So much fun!
A book from her brothers.
And an Eiffel Tower necklace from Mommy & Daddy. As well as our favorite childhood books, "101 Dalmatians" and "The Indian in the Cupboard".
She now wears her necklace almost all the time.
Mommy's attempt at a Gymnastics cake. Birthday girl requested, to I tried to deliver.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Allison. Happy Birthday to YOUuuuu!" She loves the singing and attention. Like a lot.
