We took our annual pilgrimage to see the Days of '47 parade floats. This time Daddy was able to come along the first time. It made for one fun happy day!
This one was Isaac's favorite as it had an old train on one side and the new Frontrunner train on the other. Lights, steam, moving back and forth and everything. He loved it.
The kids got to be a pirate and "sword" fight at the float that my parent's stake created.
There was absolutely NO shortage of entertainment for the kids this year. Seemed like almost every single float had either candy or an activity for the kids.
Making their own "blimp".
And then riding in one! How cool is THAT!?! This one was my favorite. I totally voted for it.
We invited Gramma Dixie and Great Gramma Ann along for the fun too. Four generations in this picture. Gramma Ann, Gramma Dixie, Daddy, the kids.
Kyle was really interested in what Great Gramma Ann had to say.
Fam photo in front of one of my all-time favorite desserts on the planet. The banana split. Oh yeah, baby! MMmm!
I really liked this one and the Islander flare. So much detail in such a small float.
Not as many floats as in year's past, but the ones there totally brought their A++ game. We had a great time!
