Mother's Day weekend we were finally able to get our birthday present Activity in (we do a big activity with the kids for birthdays in lieu of big presents...memories are WAY better and less messy, right!?). Who knew the schedule for a Penguin Encounter at the Aquarium would be so far out!?!
Turns out it was totally worth the wait!

The otters were totally performing.
So were the penguins. Allison was on a one-track mission...get to the penguins!
Uh, eeww! These bins are where the penguin "stuff" goes and filters and everything. Who knew it was such a huge production!?!
Something else we didn't know. The Aquarium, rescues birds from homes where people don't want them anymore.
The penguins like it cold. Brrr...BUT there is a species that lives in HOT climates! Another, who knew!?

See that corner where the three are hanging out. They love that corner. I don't get it. Neither do the employees. It was really quite funny...makes you wonder if they see things we can't!
No Kyle...he would've scared the penguins...we had to be quiet and not make any sudden movements.
Isaac is really into weird faces lately. ...but isn't that view awesome!
