Out of protest from Allison and non-stop begging from Isaac, we signed the kids up for Spring Soccer.
Allison discovered she actually really really likes soccer!
and got REeeeeally into it.
okay, not as die-hard as the boys, but she was warming up to that idea by the end.
She's a surprisingly AWESOME goalie!
Daddy coached her team half of the season...while Mommy did the other half.

Out of the two teams, Isaac's was definitely WAY more fun to coach AND watch. The kids and parents were so much more laid back and just there for fun.
Aside from soccer consuming our lives for a good FIVE weeks, we'll definitely do it again. The kids had a blast...

Cute! It looks like you had a great time!
Soccer is such a fun sport - is it because nobody has to stand in one spot except for the goalie (that's just murder on little kids), nobody has to shine to have fun, nobody has to stop running and when our guys were little, it meant eating as many orange wedges as they could cram in their little mouths during halftime. Do that at home and it was no big deal, but break out the oranges at the games, and you'd think they'd died and gone to heaven!
