Steven "The Stump Slayer"

Oh boy, oh boy! In our backyard we have what was a dog run all fenced in with a great gate and everything. We wanted to put our veggie garden in that area, so we began our process of clearing it out and preparing it for planting. I'll share before and after pictures in a future post.

Well, Steven did an incredible job of clearing the garden area out! There was one full tree that was dead, and two tree stumps on either end. Not small stumps, mind you. These were large! He finally "Slayed" (Yes, we're big Survivor fans) all three and WON and still lived to tell about it! This one is his latest and greatest victory! The hole was GIGANTIC and he did it all with his own two hands and a shovel! Completely Amazing!

Oh yeah! You show that stump who's boss!

I think he must have made peace with the stump at this point since he looks so happy...either that or he's happy about his victory!

Isaac wanted in on the action and was completely curious about this giant hole. So, we let him get in for a few minutes. Gives you an idea of how big this hole really was!

I think the stump was as big or bigger than Isaac! Woah baby!

Isaac was looking at Daddy and laughing at him while he was hanging out in the hole.

Just too cute!
